Mandrake root humanization, while becoming the root. The work was inspired by the photographs of FrancescaWoodman. The purpose of Justyna Górowska was to go beyond the medium of American artist has used (penetration by the imagination in the events that took place outside a static OS) andattempt to identify with her, the incarnation of her character. In this way the presented work has become a record of experience, exploring the frontier between being and not-being. Attempting to become someone else (while already absent) is a continuation of the considerations Francesca, who analyzed difficult to determine the presence of space.

The Island
The performance is a visualisation of a physical state of mind, the result of individual feelings and experiences. Two bodies, appoint an autonomous area, that allows to gain distance and short moment of look from the other side. The observation enables us to come to a conclusion: unknown begining and ending, intensified speed of move- ment, the fluency and uncertainity of made steps.
